Azerbaijan facilitates evacuation of Algerian diplomats and their families from Iran

Algerian diplomats and their families have been evacuated from Iran.
AZERTAC’s regional correspondent reports that employees of the Algerian Embassy in Iran and their family members (16 individuals) crossed the border and safely entered Azerbaijan through the Astara state border checkpoint.
The evacuation process was conducted following the completion of relevant document checks, registration, and other procedures, with all necessary measures taken at the border crossing point to ensure safe passage.
After the registration procedures, the evacuees were safely dispatched to their destinations.
The evacuation process at the Astara state border checkpoint continues without interruption, with crossings being carried out in accordance with relevant procedures under the supervision of the competent authorities.
