AZERBAIJAN FEMALE WRESTLER QUALIFIES FOR BEIJING 2008 OLYMPICS
Azerbaijani Yuliya Radkevich qualified for the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games after entering the top eight list in the women`s 55kg division at the world wrestling championship in Baku on Saturday.
Japanese Hitomi Sakamoto claimed the 51kg gold thanks to a victory over Chinese Xuecheng Ren.
French Inne-Catherine Delantush and Canadian Erica Sharp shared bronze.
Another Japanese wrestler Saori Yoshida took gold in the 55kg division after beating Ida-Theres Karlsson of Sweden.
Kazakh Olga Smirnova and Russian Natalya Golts shared bronze medals.
In the 59kg class, French Audrey Prieto-Bokhashvili won gold after defeating German Stefanie Gross.
Bronze went to Mongolian Narmandakh Dorj and Ukrainian Natalya Sinishina.
The championship ends Sunday with competition in the 63kg, 67kg and 72kg categories.
