Azerbaijan-Germany medical forum kicks off in Siegen
Berlin, September 6 (AZERTAC). An Azerbaijani-Germany medical forum has started in Siegen, Germany.
The event is co-organized by the Mary's Hospital Siegen, the National Oncology Center of Azerbaijan, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Azerbaijan Medical University, Germany-Azerbaijan Medical Cooperation Association (GAMCA) and “Vitta Medical Systems” Company.
Speaking to the event, Azerbaijani ambassador to Germany Parviz Shahbazov hailed relations between the two countries.
He stressed the importance of academic exchange with Siegen.
The ambassador also provided an insight into the reforms carried out in Azerbaijan in the fields of healthcare and education.
The event featured speeches by the Mayor of Siegen Stefan Mus, Bundestag Member Helga Daub, Azerbaijani MPs Jeyhun Osmanli, Ganira Pashayeva, and co-chairmen of Germany-Azerbaijan Medical Cooperation Association Frank Willeke and Gurban Muslumov.
