Azerbaijan, Iraq discuss prospects for development of relations on judicial bodies

Charge d'affaires of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Iraq Nasir Mammadov has met with the country’s Minister of Justice Khalid Shawani.
The meeting discussed prospects for the development of relations between Iraq and Azerbaijan.
Nasir Mammadov stressed the need for an exchange of experience, emphasizing the importance of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of justice. He noted that reciprocal visits are necessary for the intensive development of relations. Mammadov provided detailed information about the reforms in the judicial system of Azerbaijan.
In his turn, Khalid Shawani noted that they intend to further develop cooperative relations in the field of justice with Azerbaijan and are ready for experience exchange.
The pair exchanged opinions on justice as well as judicial and legal reforms in both countries and stressed the importance of visits of both countries’ delegations in terms of exchange of experience.
