Azerbaijan, Lithuania discuss inter-parliamentary ties

Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Lithuania Hasan Mammadzade has met Speaker of the Seimas of Lithuania Viktoras Pranckietis.
They discussed inter-parliamentary ties between Azerbaijan and Lithuania, as well as cooperation within the regional and international organizations.
The Ambassador hailed diplomatic relations between the two countries, and stressed the importance of further development of these bonds. The diplomat also emphasized the significance of activity of the inter-parliamentary friendship groups.
Viktoras Pranckietis, in turn, said his country respected territorial integrity and independence of Azerbaijan. The Speaker also said his country was interested in strengthening relations with Azerbaijan. Viktoras Pranckietis expressed hope that these bonds would be developed in various fields.
