AZERBAIJAN PARLIAMENTARIANS TO ATTEND PACE SESSION

Spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe starts on 26 April, press service of the Milli Majlis told AzerTAj correspondent. Delegation of Azerbaijan parliamentarians led by head of the Azerbaijan delegation at PACE Samad Seyidov will attend the session.

The delegation comprises MPs Ali Huseynov, Naira Shahtakhtinskaya, Aynur Sofiyeva, Vagif Vakilov, Bakhtiyar Aliyev, Azer Kerimli, Rafael Huseynov, Gulamhuseyn Alibeyli and Asim Mollazadeh.

The session agenda includes questions on amplification of UN activity, course of fulfillment of the obligations taken by Turkey and Albania, social security in Europe, situation on Cosovo, and role of women in conflict prevention and peace building and others.

The visit will round on 1 May.
