AZERBAIJAN PREMIER MEETS NORWEGIAN FM
Azerbaijan`s Prime Minister Artur Rasizade met with Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Store in Baku on Tuesday.
The Azeri Premier stressed the high level of relations between the two countries.
Rasizade said he believes the Norwegian FM`s trip will give the impetus to developing Azerbaijan-Norway relations.
On his country`s conflict with Armenia over the Nagorno-Karabakh, Artur Rasizade said it is continuing to remain the major obstacle for Azerbaijan.
The Azeri Prime Minister said several countries have a double standard approach to the dispute.
The Norwegian Foreign Minister said his country backs Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity.
He said Norway will continue working with the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees to implement a project aimed at improving refugees` living standards.
Jonas Gahr Store said his country is interested in enhancing bilateral relations with Azerbaijan.
He also said Norway praises Azerbaijan`s democratic reforms and the country`s efforts to create favorable conditions for NGOs.
