Azerbaijan sends another batch of humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Azerbaijan has sent another shipment of humanitarian aid, consisting of electrical equipment, to Ukraine.
In accordance with an order signed by President Ilham Aliyev dated January 16, 2026, the shipment was dispatched from the Sumgayit Technologies Park by the Ministry of Energy.
The shipment of humanitarian includes a total of 12 low-voltage panels, 11 generators, 5 transformers and 27,000 meters of cables and wires. The total amount of aid, requested by Ukraine, is 1 million US dollars.
Azerbaijan has previously sent humanitarian aid to Ukraine related to electricity supply. In connection with the ongoing war, the total value of Azerbaijan’s humanitarian support to Ukraine — including assistance aimed at reconstruction and restoration — has now surpassed $45 million.
