AZERBAIJAN-TURKMENISTAN INTERGOVERNMENTAL COMMISSION’S FIRST MEETING DUE IN ASHGABAD
Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Khalaf Khalafov will attend January 17 in Ashgabad the first meeting of Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan Intergovernmental Commission, the Ministry’s press service said.
The meeting will discuss enhancing cooperation in economy, banking and energy areas, increase in trade turnover, humanitarian projects and other issues.
Currently, the commission’s experts prepare the bilateral documents for signing. Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan Intergovernmental Commission was founded in 2007. Co-chairs of the commission are the First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov and Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Khidir Saraliyev.
