Azerbaijan, Ukraine discuss judicial cooperation
Baku, April 10 (AZERTAC). A Ukrainian delegation led by deputy chairman of the Supreme Court, Valentin Barbara has visited Azerbaijan`s Justice Ministry. The discussions focused on Azerbaijan-Ukraine judicial cooperation.
Azerbaijan`s deputy justice minister Azer Jeferov briefed the Ukrainian delegation on friendly and partnership relationship between the two countries. He stressed the role of the two countries` presidents in development of bilateral relationship.
Jeferov noted Azerbaijan and Ukraine had fruitful cooperation both on a bilateral basis and within multilateral framework. He pointed out the agreement on cooperation signed between Justice ministries of Azerbaijan and Ukraine would contribute to expansion of bilateral judicial ties.
The Azerbaijani deputy minister also spoke of judicial reforms carried out in his country.
Valentin Barbara, in turn, spoke of the judicial system of Ukraine. He stressed the importance of exchange of experience for both countries.
The delegation also visited the Justice History Museum.
