“AZERBAIJAN WILL ENRICH EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 2008”, BJORN ERICHSEN
Bjorn Erichsen, General Director of Eurovision, who came to Azerbaijan to participate at the final stage of the selection tour of “Eurovision Song Contest 2008”, voiced this opinion during his meeting with Ismayil Omarov, Director General of the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. He said that they plan to expand and develop bilateral co-op with Public TV. He said that Public TV brought “Eurovision tradition” to Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan will enrich the Eurovision Song Contest 2008.
Ismayil Omarov, in his turn, said Azerbaijan is seriously preparing to the Contest. He also noted that TRT-1, TRT-int TV channels of Turkey, public televisions of Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Bosnia and Herzegovina will broadcast the final stage of the selection tour lively.
