Azerbaijani boxers gear up for world championships

The Azerbaijani men’s boxing team have launched the second stage of their training camp as they gear up for the 2017 AIBA World Boxing Championships to be held in Hamburg, Germany, from August 25 to September 3.
The national squad includes nine boxers, of whom five - Lorenzo Sotomayor (64 kg), Parviz Baghirov (69 kg), Kamran Shahsuvarli (75 kg), Abdulqadir Abdullayev (91 kg) and Mahammadrasul Majidov (+91 kg) - will contest medals at the world championships.
