AZERBAIJANI BOXERS REACH SEMIFINAL

The boxing matches were continued among the 12 athletes in 3 weight categories at the 6th AIBA Cadet World Championship in Baku, September 5.

Elvin Mamishzade (48kg) and Bakhtiyar Nadirov (50kg) were defeated by Vikas Yadava (India) and George Katalina (Romania) respectively. Ilkin Agayev (52kg) reached semifinal by beating Kobiljon Bobajonova (UZB).

Azeri boxers Elvin Isayev (46kg), Heybatulla Hacaliyev (57kg), Gismat Eynullayev (60kg), Anar Jafarov (63kg) and Ilkin Agayev (52kg) have already reached semifinal.
