Azerbaijani contestants shine at CICA Skills Competition in China

Representatives of Azerbaijan’s vocational education institutions have excelled at the skills competition themed “Trust and Skills: Craft Our Future,” organized by the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Guangzhou, China.
Ali Mammadov, a graduate of the Baku State Vocational Education Center for Industry and Innovation, specializing in electronics, and Rauf Mirzayev, a student at the Barda State Vocational Education Center, specializing in the maintenance and repair of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), won third place in the “UAV Assembly, Calibration and Maintenance” category of the competition.
The competition, which brought together participants from 34 CICA member and observer countries, aims to enhance mutual trust, cooperation, and people-to-people contacts among CICA members and observers through skills development and the advancement of technical cooperation. It also serves as an important platform for enhancing the knowledge and skills of professionals, sharing best practices, fostering innovation, and facilitating mutual learning.
