Azerbaijani judo fighter Orkhan Safarov has advanced to the semifinal of the Olympic Games in Rio.
In the quarterfinal round the Azerbaijani judo fighter beat Brazilian Felipe Kitadai.
Safarov will next face Kazakh Yeldos Smetov.

In 60kg weight class, Safarov defeated Peruvian Juan Postigos in the 1/32 final.
