Azerbaijani judo fighters win two medals at Grand Slam tournament

Baku, July 18, AZERTAC

Azerbaijani judo fighters have claimed two medals on the first day of the Grand Slam tournament.

Ilgar Mushkiyev scooped the bronze medal after beating Russian Sayan Kertek in the 60kg weight class.

Davud Mammadsoy also earned the bronze medal in the same weight category after the victory over Dmitry Kulikov.

The Grand Slam tournament brings together 124 fighters (73 male, 51 female) from 25 countries.
