Azerbaijani judoka beats Armenian rival at Summer European Youth Olympic Festival

Baku, July 24, AZERTAC

Azerbaijani judoka Mahammad Atakishiyev (73kg) have advanced to the 1/4 finals of the 2025 European Youth Olympic Festival in Skopje, North Macedonia, by defeating his Armenian rival Tigran Sarukhanyan by ippon.

Earlier, another Azerbaijani judoka Amin Mehdiyev (81kg) proceeded to the quarterfinals of the competition.
