Azerbaijani, Kazakh border bodies sign protocol

A protocol has been signed between the State Border Service of Azerbaijan and the Border Service of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan. The protocol was signed as part of the visit of Chief of the State Border Service, Colonel General Elchin Guliyev.
The Azerbaijani delegation attended the 74th meeting of council of CIS border troops commanders.
The event featured discussions on issues of the external borders of the CIS countries
Representatives of the nine border agencies offered various effective measures to counter terrorism, the fight against illegal migration, smuggling of drugs.
The Azerbaijani delegation also held meetings with Russian, Kazakh, Belarus, Tajik, Kyrgyz and Turkmen counterparts.
