Azerbaijani Symphonic Orchestra steals the show at Gut Immling festival

Baku, August 11, AZERTAC

The Symphonic Orchestra of Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre has given a stunning performance at the 20th International Gut Immling Opera Festival in Bavaria. The orchestra performed works of world and Azerbaijani classical composers, including aria from Uzeyir Hajibeyli’s Koroğlu opera, Qara Qarayev’s Yeddi gozel balet, Fikret Amirov’s Min bir gece balet, Niyazi’s Qaytagı symphony, Polad Bulbuloglu’s Eshg ve Olum balet and Azerbaijan composition. The orchestra`s performance won high praise from the audience and the organizers.

This year Gut Immling Opera Festival saw participation of conductors and vocalists from 34 countries. All concerts and performance at the festival were sold out. The festival was in the spotlight of the German media.
