Azerbaijani wrestling team have named squad for the world championship due to take place in Astana, Kazakhstan, from August 24-30.

The tournament will bring together about 700 sportsmen from 100 countries, including Kazakhstan, Japan, Brazil, Czech Republic, Monaco, Canada, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Tunis, England, Bulgaria, Germany, Finland, Tajikistan, and France.

Azerbaijan’s line-up included Ilgar Mushkiyev at 60kg, Nijat Shikhalizade and Hidayat Heydarov at 66kg, Rustam Orujov and Huseyn Rahimli at 73kg, Ramin Gurbanov and Mammadali Mehdiyev at 90kg, Elmar Gasimov and Elhan Mammadov at 10kg.
