Azerbaijan’s Baku State University, Türkiye's Suleyman Demirel University ink MoU

Azerbaijan’s Baku State University (BSU) and Türkiye's Suleyman Demirel University (SDU) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU was inked by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and SDU rector Mehmet Saltan.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Rector Elchin Babayev highlighted BSU’s educational, research, and international activities. He emphasized the university’s close cooperation with Turkic-speaking countries, particularly leading universities in fraternal Türkiye, underlining the broad opportunities for collaboration with Suleyman Demirel University in areas such as law, economics, chemical engineering, geological engineering, and psychology.
In his remarks, Rector Mehmet Saltan noted that with 14 faculties and nearly 40,000 students, the Suleyman Demirel University views cooperation with BSU as crucial for scientific development and training competitive specialists in both Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
The memorandum envisages joint projects, joint international scientific seminars and conferences, and student and teacher exchange programs. It also opens new avenues for sharing best practices in teaching, research, and internationalization.
