Azerbaijan’s Demyanenko wins Olympic silver in Men's Canoe Single 200m race

Baku, August 18, AZERTAC

Azerbaijani canoe sprinter Valentin Demyanenko has scooped the silver medal of the Rio Olympics.

He secured the medal in the Men's Canoe Single 200m event in 39.493.

Ukrainian Iurii Cheban claimed the gold medal, while Brazilian Isaquia Dos Santos Queiroz earned the bronze medal.
