Azerbaijan’s export to Türkiye hits USD 1.3 billion in Jan–May

During the first five months of 2026, Azerbaijan exported goods valued at $1.397 billion ($1,397,442,160) to Türkiye, marking a minor 2.4% decrease (down $34.08 million) compared to the same period last year. According to data released by the State Customs Committee (SCC), these shipments accounted for 10% of Azerbaijan's total export volume.
Concurrently, Azerbaijan's imports from Turkey during the reporting period totaled $939.98 million, representing a 7.2% year-on-year decline (down $72.78 million). Imports from Türkiye constituted 13.79% of Azerbaijan's overall import market from January through May.
