AZERBAIJAN’S INDEPENDENCE MARKED IN ROMANIA
An event marking the 15th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s independence and 100th anniversary of Azerbaijan People’s Poet Samad Vurgun was held at the cultural center of Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Bucharest said.
The event was organized by Azerbaijan Embassy together with Romanian composer, member of the Romania-Azerbaijan Friendship Society, Paul Polidor.
The event gathered officials of Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs, representatives of Romania-Azerbaijan Friendship Society, Romania-Azerbaijan Commerce and Industry Chamber as well as Azerbaijan and Turkish communities.
The presentation of the Paul Polidor Foundation’s CD dedicated to Samad Vurgun’s 100th anniversary and “Independence. Fifteen years of Azerbaijan’s Independence” book was also held.
