Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency, US discuss cooperation

Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) Vugar Suleymanov has met with the Charge d'affaires of the US Embassy in the country Hugo Guevara.
During the meeting, Suleymanov highlighted the activities of the Agency, the new tasks put forward after the Patriotic War, as well as the humanitarian demining process carried out in Karabakh in accordance with the priorities set by the Azerbaijani government.
Hugo Guevara hailed the mine clearing process carried out in liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
The sides also exchanged views on the enhancement of partnership between the United States and ANAMA to counter the threat of explosive weapons, as well as ensure safety in Karabakh.
