AZERBAIJAN’S MINISTER OF CULTURE AND TOURISM MEETS WITH EGYPTIAN DELEGATION
Mr. Qarayev described the Week of Egyptian Culture in Azerbaijan as very important for his country’s cultural life.
“It's very pleasant that the Week of Egyptian Culture in Azerbaijan is being held not only in Baku, but also in Shaki and Sumgayit” the Minister said.
President of the Egyptian Academy of Arts Dr. Esmat Yehia conveyed greetings from his country’s Culture Minister, Farouk Hosni, to the Azerbaijani people.
Esmat Yehia said he believes the present event will also spark the Azerbaijani people’s interest in Egyptian culture.
The sides stressed the importance of further enhancement of the bilateral cultural ties between the two countries as well as Azerbaijan’s participation in festivals in Egypt, and students exchange.
