Azerbaijan’s tourism potential promoted at ITB Berlin 2026 exhibition
Berlin, March 5, AZERTAC
The Azerbaijani national stand, co-organized by the State Tourism Agency and the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, was showcased at ITB Berlin 2026 in Germany.
During the event, 13 Azerbaijani industry partners, including Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) CJSC, hotels, and travel agencies, are holding B2B meetings with foreign delegates to promote Azerbaijan’s tourism potential and forge new partnerships.
Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Germany Nasimi Aghayev, along with representatives of several international companies, visited the national stand.
Each year, approximately 100,000 people attend ITB Berlin, one of the world’s largest tourism exhibitions. This year’s event, marking its 60th anniversary, brought together over 5,800 organizations and tourist companies from 190 countries.
The number of German tourists visiting Azerbaijan increased by 11 percent last year, reaching 24,000.
