The Joint-Stock Bank “Azerdemiryolbank” is one of the heavyweight banks of Azerbaijan providing the credit-financial services to physical and legal entities. The Bank increasingly widens the volume of its credit portfolio promoting development of various sectors of economy.

The Bank has joined micro crediting and consumer credit program since early 2003. Crediting program paves the way for active development of the small and medium entrepreneurship.

The National Entrepreneurship Assistance Fund has provided a back-up line to the amount of 8 billion 418 million manats, which were distributed as follows: 2 billion 988 million 400 thousand manats – to trade and services sector, 3 billion 232 million 250 thousand – to the agriculture, 2 billion 197 million 890 thousand manats – to industry and production.

The credits were directed to financing of enterprises and organizations and 34 physical and legal entities in Guba-Khachmaz, Shaki, Tovuz, Lerik, Sabirabad, Agdash, Salyan, Lankaran, Agstafa, Sumgait and Baku.

The credits allotted by the Bank resulted in opening of 436 jobs.
