Internet company AzStarNet was established in 2002. Since the first days of the company’s establishment, AzStarNet has cooperated with Caspian Shipyard Company, Rapid Solutions, Tekfen, Azfen, Hydrolink Caspian, Tyco, GTZ and Applied Techs, among others, to provide network services through broadband wireless access. AzStarNet utilizes state-of-the-art technology from the world’s largest companies such as Motorola, Proxim, Alvarion, Redline, etc.

AzStarNet provides all types of services for arranging access to Global Internet including:

Permanent access to Internet resources via an allotted line (32Kbps to 10 Mbps), availability of the required range of IP-addresses, connection of remote offices to corporate networks through transparent lines (10 Mbps) of a point-to-point or point-to-multipoint variety (built-in 128 bits protection), wireless local area network (WLAN) with a computer connection rate up to 54 Mbps, arrangement of videoconferences via a provided wireless channel at the subscriber’s request (up to 2 Mbps with 100% loading), security service - visual observation of remote facilities, possibility for wireless observation of all activities taking place on a facility at a 30km distance, and additional services for users (hosting, Web-design, programming, e-mail, etc.).

AzStarNet presents a platform of Canopy TM broadband wireless access: High-speed Internet access (from 32 Kbps to 10 Mbps), non-dependence for surface and underground communications with no need for laying cable on air or land.
