Baku hosts exhibition of Caspian littoral states` artists
Baku, October 8 (AZERTAC). An exhibition displaying works of artists of the Caspian littoral states has opened in Baku.
The event was held as a part of the Caspian Sea Biennial conference.
Opening the exhibition, People`s Artist, Chairman of Azerbaijan Artists’ Union Farhad Khalilov stressed the importance of the event.
Giving information about history of this day, F. Khalilov noted that the first Caspian Biennial conference was held in Baku in 1989.
“The Caspian region is very beautiful and interesting, where it is possible to meet the elements of Eastern and Western cultures, and Baku is the city, where both cultures are reflected,” he said.
