The next session of the Islamic Scientific, Educational and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) will be held in 2008 in Baku, This decision is coupled with the country’s rapid economic development as well as the attention paid to the science, culture and education.

ISESCO Director General Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri expressed his confidence that the relationship between Azerbaijan and ISESCO as well as other OIC member countries will be strengthen. According to him, the scientific, cultural cooperation will be important for each side.

ISESCO and Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Education will sign and agreement shortly.
