BAKU TO HOST NEXT SESSION OF AUSTRIA-AZERBAIJAN INTER-GOVERNMENTAL COMMISSIONS

As informed to AzerTAj from embassy of our country in Austria, on April 29-30 this year, the third session of the Azerbaijani-Austrian joint commission was held in Vienna. At the event, our republic was represented by the delegation headed by minister of economic development, the co-chairman of the commission from Azerbaijan side Farhad Aliyev. The staff of delegation included the first deputy minister of the finance I. Fatizadeh, the deputy director of department of development of business of the ministry of economic development A. Shalyev, the head of department of the Ministry of fuel and energy I. Rzabayov, the head of department of the State concern “Azerbaijan Hava Yollari” J. Aliyev, the head of department of the Ministry of Agriculture R. Majidov, the chief of division of the Ministry of transport A. Gasymov.

F. Aliyev presided over session of the commission from the Azerbaijan side, from the Austrian side - the general director on foreign economic relations of the Ministry of Economics and Labor of this country Johan Sashes. At session, discussed were present state and prospects of cooperation in the field of economy, agriculture, industrial, technical and technological spheres.

Special attention was paid to necessity of expansion of participation of the Austrian companies in the large projects connected to development of infrastructure of Azerbaijan. It was marked, that absence of constant economic representation of Austria in our country creates difficulties for development of permanent economic cooperation between two states.

The next session of the commission will be held in Baku.
