Baku to host Vugar Hashimov Memorial among children

Baku, July 19, AZERTAC

The Vugar Hashimov Memorial international chess tournament among children will be held in Baku on July 24.

The tournament will feature boys and girls competitions in 8-10-12-year old age groups.

The Memorial will bring together over 130 chess players, winners of European and World Championships, as well as country`s champions, with ranking points over 1600 from Belarus, Georgia, Iran, Azerbaijan and other countries.

The winner will gain the Vugar Hashimov cup, as well as qualify for “Baku-Open 2016” international tournament.

The 9-round tournament will be completed on August 1.
