Bayer Leverkusen sign Liverpool's Jarell Quansah

Bayer Leverkusen have completed the signing of England U21 central defender Jarell Quansah from reigning Premier League champions Liverpool, according to Bundesliga.
Quansah, who made 58 senior appearances in a Liverpool shirt, has put pen to paper on a five-year deal through to 30 June 2030 at the BayArena.
Liverpool youth product Quansah made his first-team debut for the club after returning from a loan with League 1 side Bristol Rovers in 2023. He subsequently made 33 appearances as the Reds won the league cup under legendary coach Jürgen Klopp.
Quansah followed that with 13 top-flight games in Liverpool's successful Premier League title push last season.
The 36-time youth international was named in Thomas Tuchel's first England squad in March of this year, but did not feature in FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers against Albania and Latvia. This summer, he was a key member of the England U21 squad that won the UEFA European Championship, beating Germany 3-2 in the final.
