Member of House of Representatives at the Belarus National Assembly Sergei Kamenetsky met with members of the Azerbaijan-Belarus interparliamentary working group at Azerbaijan`s Parliament, Milli Majlis, as part of his trip to Baku.

Arif Rahimzade, a member of the group, informed the Belarusian MP of the Milli Majlis` legislation database.

Another member of the working group, Ziyad Samadzade, covered economic reforms conducted in Azerbaijan.

He said Azerbaijan is keen to develop bilateral relations with Belarus which he described as a resource-rich country.

Sergei Kamenetsky said he will attend in Baku celebrations marking the 85th anniversary of Azerbaijan`s nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev.

The Belarusian MP said Azerbaijan is very dear to him as he graduated from the Military High School in Baku.

Kamenetsky praised Azerbaijan`s development saying much has changed since his last visit to the country.

Belarus Ambassador in Baku Nikolay Patskevich was present at the meeting.
