Belfast hosts meeting on Azerbaijan-Northern Ireland relations
London, January 30 (AZERTAC). The Northern Ireland Assembly has hosted a meeting on “Azerbaijan—Northern Ireland relations” organized by the European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS).
The meeting has brought together some 60 government and state officials, including 10 representatives of the Northern Ireland Legislative Assembly.
Delivering a speech in the event Azerbaijani ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Fakhraddin Gurbanov spoke about Azerbaijan`s development history, as well as its achievements. Praising development of the non-oil sector, the ambassador expressed his confidence that the Azerbaijan-Northern Ireland relations would continue to develop.
Northern Ireland`s First Minister Peter Robinson stressed the increase of the investment implementation between the two countries.
Executive Director of “Action Renewables” company Michael Doran who operated in Baku and Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic shares his impressions on Azerbaijan.
