CASPIAN OIL-GAS EXCHANGE TO OPEN IN BAKU ON SEPTEMBER 20
Baku, 18 September, (AZERTAC).Caspian Oil-Gas Exchange which is the interactive online portal about the fuel-energy complex of the Caspian Region shall be opened in Baku, on September 20 2009, the day of 15th anniversary of the Contract of the Century.
Caspian Oil-Gas Exchange was organized under the support of the Caspian-European Integration Business Club (CEIBC). Caspian Energy International Media Group is the general information partner of the exchange.
“The project shall be launched under a test mode on September 20 at 20:09 of Baku time, i.e. we decided to use this marketing move, certain magic of numbers since it is popular at various business fields”, Telman Aliyev, President and CEO of CEIBC, declared.
Thus, T.Aliyev assumes that before getting ready for a new working week, businessmen will be able to enter this portal via their cell phones, personal computers and notebooks for getting familiarized with the activity of the Exchange and pass decision on participation in the project or purchase of point for participation in our bids.
According to the president and chief executive officer of the Club, bids will run throughout half a year in spite of the fact that Exchange will start operating under a test mode on September 20. As result, new services will be provided at the Exchange, and introduced will be new opportunities for participation in the work of the Exchange.
“CEIBC member companies and partner organizations will be provided with preferences for participation in the work of the Exchange”, T.Aliyev said.
This shall be a virtual exchange for running of bids, information exchange, and placement of catalogue of all oil-gas servicing companies operating in the Caspian region. All the companies which wish to enter the market will be able to apply services of this exchange. The advantage of this exchange will enable subscribers to get familiarized (in closed regime) with information about tenders announced both by state, private organizations and companies in the countries of the Caspian Region. Exchange shall contain information about products, raw materials, services which are offered by companies of oil-gas sector for companies of the oil-gas sector.
The major goal of the Exchange is the establishment of the working tool which will be able to thoroughly and qualitatively provide information exchange between companies, promote their dialogue, their cooperation opportunities, as well as successful sale of products and services presented by oil-gas companies. “Companies involved in small and medium business often apply to CEIBC since they wish to establish contacts with bigger oil-gas companies. But, unfortunately, such negotiations mainly turn out to be unsuccessful”. In this case, big oil company will get an opportunity to independently familiarize with the activities, services of all companies listed at the exchange and establish direct contacts with them without notifying servicing or other companies. Practically, we do open markets of Caspian countries for global business. Any world company may freely present and sell its product or goods at online regime and this shall accelerate cooperation process”, T.Aliyev noted.
