CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY OF AZERBAIJAN AND RUSSIA SIGN COOPERATION AGREEMENT
Prior to signing ceremony, president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Azerbaijan, chairman of the Commerce and Industry Chambers of CIS countries Suleyman Tatliyev welcomed his counterpart Yevgeny Primakov and noted that agreement would help deepening the cooperation between the countries. The goods turnover increased by 42,5 percent this year, he said. Russia ranks second after Italy in goods turnover of Azerbaijan.
Y. Primakov said that Russia pays a special attention to the agreements. The agreement implies the joint activity. We will do our best to enhance relations between our countries, Primakov said. President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Russia gave an impetus to the cooperation. The establishment of the CIS Council of Chambers is very important, as Russia and Azerbaijan will work together.
Finally, Suleyman Tatliyev and Yevgeny Primakov signed an agreement on cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
