Renowned German photographer Florian Kreischbaumer shared his initial discovery of the lake's distinct hue while exploring online maps. He explained to viewers that the unique pink color of Masazir Lake is attributed to salt-absorbing bacteria, a phenomenon that captivates many due to its rarity.
The photographer used a drone to document the Masazir Lake in October 2022.
