650 facts of crimes were registered in the Republic at the first quarter of 2004, AzerTAj correspondent learnt from State Committee on combat against illicit drugs turnover.

Over 68 kg of drug substances, 508 gr of heroin, 13 kg 676 gr of opium, 1 kg 229 gm of hashish, 52 kg 595 gm of marihuana was confiscated.

On May, 359 men were brought to response. 11 kg 690 gm of drug substances were confiscated from 28 – foreigners, 17 citizens of Iran, 10- Georgia, 1-Russia.
