CONFERENCE AT OMBUDSMAN OFFICE
In her report “Heydar Aliyev and Provision of Human Rights in Azerbaijan” ombudsperson Elmira Suleymanova told of the economic and political stability created in the country by President Heydar Aliyev, important steps taken to ensure human rights and create civil society.
The participants of the event also heard the report by deputy of the Milli Majlis Yagub Mahmudov on the theme “Azerbaijani Leader in World History.” Characterizing Heydar Aliyev as a guarantor of our statehood, he stressed in particular, that ability to consolidate the public and create stability, allowed our national leader to win deepest respect, and both local and worldwide reputation.
Deputy of the Milli Majlis Aydin Mirzazadeh, deputy Minister of Education Irada Huseynova, corresponding member of the National Academy of sciences Prof. Vagif Abbasov and others told of the huge efforts by founder of independent Azerbaijan state Heydar Aliyev for social and economic development of the country, its worldwide recognition, improvement of the people’s welfare, building legal state in the republic for the person-citizen-public relations to be based on democratic principles.
Also present at the event were representatives of regional Center of Ombudsman institute in Shaki and Jalilabad.
