‘Cooperation between Azerbaijani and Iranian ports is beneficial to both countries’

Tehran, May 13, AZERTAC

Deputy director of Iran's Ports and Maritime Organization Hadi Haghshenas has said cooperation between the ports of Azerbaijan and Iran is beneficial to both countries.

He said both Azerbaijan and Iran are interested in expanding relations between their ports in the Caspian sea.

Haghshenas said he believes the expansion of the relations will contribute to an increase in the volume of transit freight, bringing additional revenues to both countries.

He also expressed his confidence that cooperation between ports will also boost the bilateral trade and tourism industry in both Azerbaijan and Iran.
