COOPERATION OF NEWS AGENCIES OF TURKIC SPEAKING COUNTRIES USEFUL, SALIH MELEK
Mutual cooperation among the News Agencies of Turkic speaking countries will contribute to inform the world community about these countries, Turkey`s Director General of Press and Information Salih Melek told journalists in Baku.
He stressed the country with powerful media is considered strong country.
The meeting of news agencies of Turkic speaking countries in Baku is of paramount importance in terms of expanding cooperation among them. This cooperation will also have positive impact on Turkic speaking countries to boost their political, economic, humanitarian relations, said Mr. Salih Melek.
He pointed out the cooperation would also be useful for delivering detailed information regularly to the world community about the realities of the so-called Armenian genocide and the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
