Defense Ministry: Azerbaijan Army pays special attention to training of young soldiers

Various theoretical and practical classes are held in all military units of the Azerbaijan Army in order to train young soldiers who recently were called up for military service, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
“During the classes, special attention is paid to the requirements of the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, on a sensitive approach to the adaptation process of young soldiers.
The relevant requirements of the regulations and military legislation, the rules of military discipline, as well as elements of exercises on drill, physical and fire training are instilled in young soldiers during the classes.
The leaders of the classes also explain to young soldiers the rules for proper usage of weapons and equipment available in the armament.
It should be noted that classes are held in accordance with the young soldiers’ training program. As part of the events, talks are held and necessary recommendations are given to young soldiers in order to adapt them to the military service conditions and protect their psychological health,” the ministry said.
