Delegation of heads of US congressmen's staff meet YAP executives
Baku, January 29 (AZERTAC). A delegation of heads of the US congressmen's staff met in Baku with deputy executive secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) in Baku as part of the visit to Azerbaijan.
At the meeting with deputies Siyavush Novruzov and Mubariz Gurbanly, the sides exchanged views on the Azerbaijani-American relations.
As noted, the ties between the two states are developing. Azerbaijan and the United States maintain relations in political, economic and other spheres.
Azerbaijan's active cooperation as part of the anti-terror coalition was highly appreciated.
The meeting participants also stressed the need for expansion of inter-parliamentary ties.
The delegation members showed interest in the political system of Azerbaijan, the activity of the political parties, representation of the political parties in the parliament and the ideological and political line of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP).
