Delegation of Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority visits Azerbaijan

A delegation led by chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority of Pakistan, Omar Mahmood Hayat visited Azerbaijan.
The Pakistani delegation visited the Alley of Honor to lay a wreath at the grave of national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev. They also put flowers at the grave of famous academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
The Pakistani delegation then visited the Alley of Martyrs and laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
The delegation also met with Azerbaijan’s deputy ministers of emergency situations Faig Taghizade and Tapdig Amiraslanov.
Mr. Taghizade spoke about the ministry’s activities, the work carried out to prevent and eliminate the emergency situations and their consequences, cooperation with international organizations and relevant organizations of friendly countries.
Omar Mahmood Hayat, said that he was deeply impressed with the beauty of Baku.
The Pakistani delegation will also pay a visit to the ministry’s Academy and the Sabail district State Fire Protection Unit.
