Deputy parliament chair: Azerbaijan properly fulfills its commitments to protect children’s rights

“The Azerbaijani governments is properly fulfilling its commitments to protect the rights of children,” said deputy chair of the parliament Bahar Muradova as she addressed an international conference organized in Baku in partnership with UNICEF. She said this issue is clearly stipulated in the country`s laws. “In the 25 years of its independence Azerbaijan has chosen a coordinated approach to children’s rights.”
Muradova also hailed the Azerbaijani parliament`s cooperation with UNESCO, saying it has developed in recent years.
