ЭNTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THEME “NUCLEAR SCIENCE AND ITS APPLICATION’ COMMENCES IN BAKU
The conference is attended by respective bodies of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan as well as the representatives of the USA, Poland, Austria, Russia, Ukraine and Georgia and a number of specialists from international organizations.
ANAS president Makhmud Kerimov, the principal of the Institute of Radiation Problems, doctor of Chemical sciences, professor Adil Qaribov, head of the Turkish Atomic Energy Agency Zaphar Alper and others told of the use of nuclear technologies in the field of agriculture, industry, health, discussed the issues of safety and development of the nuclear physics and nuclear science, and said that radiation is felt along the borders of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
The conference is due to run till November 3.
