ESTONIA KEEN IN DEVELOPMENT OF RELATIONS WITH AZERBAIJAN
Warmly greeting the guests, the Chairman Murtuz Alasgarov touched on the development of relations between Azerbaijan-Estonia.
Estonia’s accession to NATO, European Union and other authoritative international organizations pleased us here in Azerbaijan, he noted.
The Speaker informed the guests in detail on the process of Azerbaijan’s integration into Europe, and the sorest problem of the country, the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh
He stressed that if the efforts for peaceful settlement of the conflict remain vain, Azerbaijan will be able to release its lands the other way.
Having thanked the Chairman Alasgarov for the warm meeting, Estonian Minister P. E. Rummo noted that his country is very interested in widening relations with Azerbaijan. It is very pleasing that our two partner in various programs.
Head of the parliamentary group Estonia-Azerbaijan Eldar Efendiyev and Head of the parliamentary group of Azerbaijan-Estonia Anar Mammadkhanly provided detail information on the groups’ activities aimed at development of inter-parliamentary links, and popularization of our countries.
It was noted as well that a decision on conducting Days of Azerbaijan in Estonia would be made public after the visit.
