EUROPEAN AZERBAIJANIS READY TO SERVE AZERBAIJAN IN ALL SPHERES
“Your excellency, Mr. President!
We, participants of constituent conference of the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Europe (CAE) having gathered on April 17, 2004 in capital of the Federal Republic of Germany, Berlin, have widely discussed present condition and prospects of establishment of the Azerbaijan Diaspora. Participants of the Forum have unanimously emphasized the following idea: today process of association of Azerbaijanis of the world around the national idea – Azerbaijanism, independent statehood and national-cultural value successfully proceeds. We, living in the foreign countries Azerbaijanis, wish continuation of the political stability, which have established in our native Fatherland, the economic rise, successfully pursued policy, we state about the readiness to serve to Azerbaijan in all areas and support your activity.
Dear President!
Participants of the Forum consider, that wide scope of process of becoming of the Azerbaijan societies functioning in various countries of world, and formation of communities and associations in the form of Diaspora federations in the name of joint cooperation became already the requirement of day.
Participants of our Conference have widely discussed also available opportunities, cares and problems of Azerbaijan communities working in Europe and associations. The following uniform idea has been expressed: with a view of the further strengthening connections of our compatriots who reside in the European countries with their historical Native Land, spiritual, political unity and solidarity between Azerbaijanis of the world, protection of their national, social and civil rights, joint protection of national - cultural values, co-ordinations of activity of the Azerbaijan communities and associations in region to found the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Europe.
Participants of action have with confidence noted that realization of idea of association of the Azerbaijan communities, which are taking place outside the Native Land, became possible only due to their deep belief in great and sacred cause, which was carried out by our national leader Heydar Aliyev in the name of revival of the nation and state.
We assure you, that the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Europe will always value honor and advantage of our native Fatherland, and communities included in structure and association of our compatriots - to bring to the notice of the population of the countries of residence, and also up to world community the Azerbaijan realities, the successes achieved in various areas, actively to participate in growth of economic power of our Native Land. The Congress of Azerbaijanis of Europe will expand henceforth the activity in the direction of association of all Azerbaijanis, to bring the worthy contribution to solution of other problems having great value in the life of our compatriots.
